In recent years, two Doctors from Lincolnshire have been travelling to Malawi to teach Primary Healthcare to the villages surrounding a mission base. Their heart is to work alongside the church and teach people to stay well through simple healthcare practices. Chrissy, a local Health Care Worker is employed to continue the work with local communities, along with a Pastor called Mary.

With this work now established and its long term future in Malawi secured, the focus of the Primary Healthcare project has moved with the original missionaries to Burundi. Here, a church has been set up along with supporting projects and again the Lincolnshire Doctors will continue to make the medical trips that help to transform the health of communities.
